Just wanted to quickly let everyone know that Emma's surgery was canceled this morning at the last minute. She is retaining fluid, and we really need her to start getting rid of it. They have given her two rounds of Lasix with no results. Since she is retaining so much fluid, they weren't able to give her any blood. They tried to cath her, and she didn't have anything in her bladder. They are going to try to cath her again and see if it helps this time. Hopefully, she will start to lose the fluid and have her surgery later this week.

As for Abigail, she is still yoyo-ing with the potassium and sugar levels. The respiratory tech is giving her albuterol treatments every 3 hours to help her wash the potassium out of her system. They have continued to increase Abby's insulin to help decrease her blood sugar. She has her levels every checked every 30 minutes, so this means her poor little heal is pricked all day long.

Thanks for the continued prayers for the girls and us. We constantly ask God for strength to help us all get through these difficult times.
