Patrick and I couldn't be happier to announce the arrival of Hope Ames. Her daddy works with Pat at Ivy. Congratulations Rob and Amy!!
As for our little ones they are continuing to progress. Emma has been on Lo-Flow oxygen for 2 days now and is doing well with it. She has had an increase in her apnec spells. We have been reassured that this is a preemie thing, and she will outgrow it. She has been tolerating her feeds so they will be increasing her by 1 mL every 12 hours. Fingers crossed she will continue to tolerate the milk. Emma is currently 2 lbs. 8 oz.
Abigail has been doing well with her CPAP. They weaned her a little more today, and it would be nice to have her off of it by the weekend. The little band that keeps her nose piece in place is really starting to rub a sore on her forehead. She has been increased to 20 mL a feeding, and is at 2 lbs. 4 oz.
Please continue to keep these little ones in your prayers. They still have such a long ways to go.

Past 2lbs.....that is awesome! It is great when they pass a goal! The girls are a part of my daily routine and I know they will continue to grow and impress you each and every single day.

Just as Ginger says---awesome! What wonderful news today..even more surprising to me is that Emma weighs more, especially after all her troubles. Not to make light of Abby's but I got the feeling that she was the stronger of the two. Regardles...what more exciting is this? I am just so happy for you all. One of these days soon..they will reach the magic number...5 lbs! That will definitely call for a celebration complete with balloons,etc!!
