Due to Emma's infection, we are waiting to see if surgery will be tomorrow or postponed. They will draw labs tomorrow morning at 3 a.m. Depending on these labs the doctors will then decide if they should operate or wait. We are hopeful that surgery will be tomorrow so we can get Emma on the road to recovery.
Thursday might just be Abby's homecoming. My mom asked me if I was excited, and I had to be honest. We are afraid to get our hopes up because we know how easily they can be crushed. Let's just say we are cautiously excited. She had her MRI today, but we are still awaiting the neurologist's report. Nurse A said that Abby enjoyed the trip. She had her hands over her head and was looking all around. She even had a little granny admiring her as she awaited her scan. Of course she was in an isolette so no one could touch her or get to her.
As always we are always accepting any prayers or good thoughts sent our ways. Evelyn, we know you are lighting your candles and sending us all the positive vibes you can. We love you all for keeping us in your prayers.
Just stop...

Prayers for God's best for little Emma tomorrow and for Abby's homecoming soon. You'll really be busy when she gets home!! Thank you for the update tonight.
We are still praying daily!

Sending prayers your way!
I can't begin to understand the struggles your precious family has faced, but know you continue to be in our prayers. And thank you for sharing the specific needs. Each day is another miracle.
Love you all...
What a roller coaster but I am much more comfortable when it is going up...such as in Abby's case. Going HOME..HOW WONDERFUL! Somehow I think she will begin to take giant steps..like everyone else, there is no place like home and your own bed! Now the big thing is to have Emma right there beside her in just a short time. I am sure God is realizing that you need some relief after being so faithful..He is good! Fondly, Vonnie
