8 months/4 months corrected

Another month has come and gone way too fast. The girls are 8 months, but in actuality they are truly only 4 months old. They have started the process of eating cereal. At this point it is a messy process, but oh so fun. Emma and Abby have both found their feet and love to have them in their mouths. Both of them have become very talkative. The house if constantly full of "hey's" and "growling." My favorite part of the day is walking into their room in the morning. It warms my heart to see how happy they are to see me, and their amazing smiles bring such joy to my day. The girls are getting close to sleeping through the night. Abby slept through until 6:00 but Emma needed a little snack (1 ounce) around 2:30 a.m.

We had some great babysitters, Mom and Aunt Traci, this past weekend. Patrick and I took a day trip to Denver. We flew out early on Saturday so we could make the wedding of our great friend Shawn. He looked quite handsome all dressed up, and his bride Deborah was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed a quick visit before we had to say good bye and head to the airport. We wish them all the best.

Thanksgiving has come and passed, but I still would like to express once again our thanks to all of you who have supported us and loved us through the many changes that we have gone this year. Life has handed us many surprises, be they disappointments or joys, but the love and support of family and friends endures. You all have been blessings to our lives.

The girls chilling in their Nap Nannies. Thanks to The Hoelschers for introducing us to these. Huge help with reflux!!
Our last trip to the park before the weather turned colder.

Emma sleeping with her blankie.
Abby sleeping so sweetly.
The girls all dressed up waiting on Grandma and Aunt Traci. Abby and then Emma

Jana ~ Read your post and glad things are coming along. I love the mornings too and can't wait for our boys to be part of the day as well! I am so huge and tired all the time!
I know it won't be ANY better when they are here, but being so huge is hard too!
I have a question for you on the Nappies (I can't remember the names now), would you suggest them to all moms with twins? If so what do you use them for exactly and where did you get them?
Getting some tips from you!
Dre

Thanks for the darling new pictures. Enjoy those babies. I know it's had to believe, but they'll be big before you know it.
