Eye Appointment

Really quick........I wanted to let everyone know how Emma's eye appointment went today. It's a much easier exam than the ROP. She does have nystagmus, but the doctor said he didn't think it was anything that would impair her vision. He did say that she is near sighted in both eyes. The problem here is that her left eye is much more affected than the right so we will have to patch her right eye for 4 hours out of each day. This will force her to use her left eye instead of compensating with her right. He will check her again in 2 months to see how she is progressing. She will have to have glasses and that should happen somewhere between 12 and 18 months. She is going to be so stinking cute in glasses. Just one more accessory to shop for!!!
