Team Red Bird

It's about that time of year when we start raising money for a charity that is near and dear to our hearts....the March of Dimes. This year will be our 3rd walk. If there is anyone who would like to join us, we would love it. It is so amazing how big the whole event is....thousands of people. They hand out sack lunches, and they give out Blue Bell ice cream. Disney Radio is there, and there are numerous activities for kids to partake in. Make it a family day and join us.

As the days come and go and time passes, you would think that our past gets easier to bear. To some extent it does, but two years later there are still days that are hard to get through. It can be just another ordinary day, and all of sudden you see something, or hear something and the unbearable pain of losing your child just overwhelms you to the point of being unable to breath or stop the tears that just seem to flow. I am so profoundly grateful that two of my babies are here with us, but that doesn't make the loss of Reagan easier to bear. This is the reason we walk. My hope is that the March of Dimes will one day be able to help decrease the number of families who grieve the loss of their child when they should be celebrating the new life. Your donations matter more than you know. If everyone who read this blog would donate just $5, it would make a huge impact. I've listed the site where, if you feel led, you can donate. http://www.marchforbabies.org/team/t1494433

Thank you all for continuing to follow us and pray for us. You all hold a special place in our lives.
