Wonderful Father

Hard to believe that we have celebrated another Father's Day in our home.  Hard to believe after walking the difficult road to parenthood.  We delight everyday in seeing their sweet faces and thank the Lord above for all of our girls. 

As a young girl I always dreamed of that perfect guy.  I had my list of qualities that Mr. Right would have to have, but until Patrick I never knew how lacking the list was.  Thankfully God had a better plan for me than I had for myself.  My road to finding true love is one that had many bumps, but because of those bumps I can say I honestly know what love is. 

In my younger years the list consisted of things such as good looking, fun, honest, etc.  Patrick is all that and so much more.  He is man of great integrity, loyalty, and commitment. He is hardworking and driven to give his family a wonderful life.  He is so quick witted which keeps us all laughing.  Gentle, kind, and loving are more words that describe this wonderful man.  He is someone who definitely looks for the good in people, and he doesn't have an "I'm better than you attitude." I couldn't have found a more loving man to have children with.  He adores his girls, and always has a gleam of pride in his eyes when he talks about them.  To have found a man so wonderful to walk through life with is truly the work of our heavenly father. To say that I am thankful for him, doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. Happy Father's Day, Patrick!!
