Gone in 60 Seconds

Just quickly wanted to let everyone know what's going on around here. The home health nurse came today and Emma is at 5 lbs. 14 oz. Almost 6 lbs!!!!! Abby is at 8 lbs. 7 oz. We were a little disappointed in this number, but the nurse said it could be due to her using a different scale. Hopefully next week she'll have a huge gain. Other than that the girls are doing great.

We are looking forward to the NICU reunion on Saturday. There are so many faces we can't wait to see again. Rain is forecasted for tomorrow, so we are hopeful that it will stay away long enough for us to enjoy the beautiful outdoor weather.

Patrick's mom and dad are here visiting and enjoying the girls. I'm sure when they leave we will have to break the girls of being held all the time, but no problem. At least it has given us a little time to relax and be a little bit lazy. With them being here Pat has finally been able to open up his 1997 Poliziano which he has been anxiously waiting to for. Since this wine is Pat's all time favorite, I gave it to him the night before our wedding. I have to add that when I bought it it was one of only two bottles in the US. Pat has always said that the opening of this bottle would only be done when there was something special enough to celebrate. Having both girls home and happy was deemed the appropriate occasion. Needless to say this bottle was gone quickly.
